A sterile environment is an absolute must in order to maintain patient health and staff health. All measures have been taken to ensure this important issue. There are many motion features and foot controls to minimize hand contact and cross contamination. The PLANMECA CHAIR has an internal flushing system that will flush all the lines after each patient. The water source is from a closed container which is always treated with antibacterial measures and will not allow retrograde back flow of water in the system. Staff is highly trained in infection control and barrier management, and each operatory is fully stocked to prevent unnecessary time lost from leaving the room for more supplies. Besides proper physical barrier protection of all areas of practitioner contact the institute also has an outside monitoring company to test the premises on a weekly basis for spores and related microbacteria.
