IMPLANT DENTISTRY

I enjoy dental surgery and surgical implant placement and the subsequent restoration thereafter. I have taken many continuing education classes regarding dental implants and continuously keep up with the science behind implantology. Some of my cases are available on the case studies link from pleasantsmiles' home page. Having the ability to take tomography radiographs by PLANMECA DIGITAL PAN is a major advantage. All implant cases will be presented to a panel of dentists in the US and or European Union for not only second opinions, but also teaching purposes, and publication if high scientific value is noted. I believe a multi practitioner approach will only benefit the patient. It is imperative to allocate all of the practitioner's time and attention to this procedure without attending to other patients. Only this type of control and one on one approach will minimize risks and maximize patient benefits. In a very busy office environment many other factors will be at work to negatively influence the outcome.
